If you accept suggestion, then I recommend you to stay with your initial decision and tell them nicely and thoroughly later when the situation allows you to. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but they will eventually listen to you as long as you stay cool and patient. Don't know about them, but if it were me, I would be disgusted by a half-baked resolve. That said, I don't think they would be happy with your invitation that came from you being forced. There is always a priority in everything, you're a student and your highest priority is to not waste your parents' money.
Well, that's what I think. Pardon if it's like me trying to meddle in your personal affair too far.

nah,it's okay.
it did ease the pain of being guilty a bit.
i did think it through but maybe you're right.
i need to re-plan this thoroughly and call them again later.
kinda strange that i'm the one who always gives advices to my friends but thanks for the advice jenny.

That's fine. Even preys can be hunters if the situation is forcing them to.
Think thoroughly and do what you can for now. The situation will surely turn to the better only if you work for it. Good luck.

I am not sure what is happening here, but sound like my Ghost buddy is in some sort of trouble?
And of course, Jen is around! Jen gives the best advice and is always a supportive friend. It is hard to catch you these days.
*Bear Hugs to Ghost and Jen*
Not sure if it is too late, but @Ghost:
Getting back on topic, since we are both from the Asian society, our cultures are hugely similar. I believe all parents love their children, and in Asian societies, no matter how old we are, parents will still see us as little kids. They will not stay angry with you for long, but of course, communication is the key to resolving the issue. Give them a few days to calm down.
Perhaps you could allow your parents to come over, but do let them know that you will be busy studying and may not be able to accompany or show them around till the examinations are over. From the viewpoint of your parents, they simply want to know how their child is faring. Even seeing their children for a while will bring joy to their faces.
Good luck my friend and I hope everything turns out smoothly.

Spoiler:
Sorry about last night, Bear. This connection from the 3rd-rate country prevented me to show off my nose.
Appreciation is the best gift an artist could ever ask for. Thank you for your kind praise, I will make sure to use it to motivate myself in being better. If there is anything like 'hard to catch you these days', it should be aimed toward yourself. Ever since your last message during late August, I've never seen you replying to it or even in forum (perhaps because I rarely go outside). Well, aside from that, I'm glad you're still alive and kicking. Till the time we can talk again, stay frosty.

Spoiler:
well if there's some Tamiya Weathering Master that has Sand,Light Sand and Mud in 1 set at the store,go buy it.
it's 500yen in here so it's probably not that expensive in yours?
and didn't you have some putty?
maybe it's just me because i forgot how it works but that knee joint still splitted like that so maybe if you use the putty to seal it,it'll looks solid.

okay then.
and how did YOU apply the weathering effects again?
by using tamiya weathering master,it's...it's like using a cosmetic product.
stop laughing,i never use any cosmetic and it's actually written in the manual that it's not a cosmetic product.
i think it's like how to apply foundations on women's face.

Well... I grabbed this spray can of Tamiya Smoke Clear, then attempted to GENTLY spray it on... [size=10]but instead I pressed on too hard and made a very thick coating so I took what was left of the Mr. Paint Remover and smudged out the paint on the surface ;w;[/h]
