So you never played Golden eye?
That's a damn shame...

Used to do stuff
Map the dpad to the dpad
Analog stick to the left ps3 analog stick
Map A to X and B to square
C left to triangle, C right to Circle, C down to R1
C up should be mapped to up on the right analog stick
Due to issues with ps3 controller emulation the next part may seem a bit odd at first but you should get used to it, R2 and L2 are often read on a Z axis which can mess up how things are read as input so you try to leave one open.
Z is mapped to L1
R is mapped to R2
L2 is left empty as there is no use for it and will conflict with R2 as stated above.
There you now have an efficient controller set up for Zelda OOT and MM. Now go play some god damn video games.
Also make sure you are emulating the GC rips of those games. They have an increased resolution so it should look nicer by default on an n64 emulator.

Hey Sindalf, are the Hi-Rez Texture packs for OOT and MM on the Project 64 based off the GC rips or are they fanmade, and if so, which do you think are better?

Not reading rest of thread, but A Link to the Past is best Zelda title. Ocarina of Time is a close second.

I personally liked MM more than OOT. I liked the heavy emphasis on sidequests and the atmosphere with the different areas and how each one represented a different stage of depression.

Ocarina of Time > Wind Waker > Majora's Mask > Skyward Sword > Twilight Princess > Oracles > Link to the Past> Zelda I > Zelda II
OT: Kaimax if all else fails, do a barrel roll.

Skyward sword is.. okay. The game is nice but I prefer buttons inputs over motion controls. That's just me though.
