Sure, you need to manage and mitigate and moderate it to make sure it runs properly- but like any job- if you don't have a l'il fun with it, it becomes a soul-sucking, tedious, joyless, chore.

Of course you can't afford to play around all the time, but I've honestly done a lot more good than bad. Again- what I do does absolutely nothing to interfere; only serving to help brighten peoples' days (which they have, as evidenced by comments reacting to my actions).

I cannot see how that can be interpreted as a bad thing asides from a rigid and unbending process of sticking to protocol as-writ by-the-book no-exceptions absolute set-in-stone.

Man tries to molest woman. Woman tazes man. Lack of sufficient evidence to convict man. But visible marks on man are enough to get woman convicted of assault.

That's what following protocol achieves.

Black people arrested on site. Gotta be a damned hero. High-Speed car chases that can send innocents careening off the road.

That's what taking yourself too seriously achieves.

The entire point of this thread was simply for me to say: Gelbooru staff need to lighten up a little.

I could say that you could stand to ease up a tad, too- so keen you are as to present yourself as Mr. Mature MaturityPants. Being childish is a great way to relieve stress.

I was fine without an account for the past few months- but browsing Gel and seeing such atrocious spelling errors and vast quantities of tpyos brought me to make a new one in the first place.

Biggest difference is that I was making fun of you for acting a certain way, which made you loose it. They're banning you from their site because you didn't follow the rules.

I've only returned once- abusing multiple accounts is not my offense.

Again- this not a personal vendetta- simply a disagreement with protocol; I was never told that I was going to get banned, and "Tag Poisoning" isn't even cited in the rules- nor is it clearly defined.

Yes, I have been warned several times- but I was never told that my actions would lead to a ban.


Anyways, no hard feelings- but I would make the suggestion to have the rules more clearly defined and in a more obvious place- rather than people having to guess and infer them through various other sources (Terms of Service, the forums, and- as here- disagreements with the staff).
