Use this to appeal your ban. Surely even you can figure out how this system works.

Given that both your original and sock accounts were banned due to tag poisoning, the odds are probably slim, but the worst you can get is "No", I guess.

What's the difference between Danbooru and Gelbooru anyway? Is either one better than the other?

The things people care about are:
1. On Gelbooru, you can do very large tag searches(compared to a 2 tag limit with a basic Danbooru account. This goes up to 6 with a Priv+ account.)
2. You can view loli/shota without paying/working for a privileged account.
3. You can upload images without the need to have them approved by a Janitor/Mod on Gelbooru.

Danbooru has more members that are concerned with tagging quality and translating images than us, and Danbooru has more stringent quality guidelines than Gelbooru does. Whichever one you prefer is completely up to opinion.

Would I be able to get my first account back if I play be the rules?

I could have made another account and have done just as well- it's mostly the name that I'd like to keep.
