The battle is done. The white boy pretty much solo'd everything... AND WTF. He turned all normal after the battle... so it was simply a transformation huh? Is it something special to his blood or is it some trick anyone can pick up? I dunno, but I'm sure it is related to magic. What he did looked like he was sucking a spell into him... Let's see... Jovis Tempestas Fulguriens... Storm.. of... argh, I'm so useless at this cult language!

They all went toward Ostia. Good, I was planning to go there as well, and now I know the exact direction. But wait, don't go just yet... I've gotta examine the ground zero first. Hmm... there are plenty traces of mana here. Figures, since that lightning whatnot has to be a big spell. The ground feels zappy somehow. I feel like something's surging in me. Oh well, ignore it, ignore it... examining the area is more important!

This is the crater the demon was pinned into. Yup, there's a piercing mark on the ground and it also feels zappy. I suppose the lance that pierced it is made of lightning. I kinda envy the boy. He has crazy speed, very good at delayed spells, and most importantly, he has that queer transform thingy! If it's not special to his tribe or whatever, I just must learn it!

Done inspecting, I walk toward Ostia. Halfway there, the surging sensation in me is becoming stronger. Ugh, what's up with me? Just some time ago I feel so drained for flying too much... let's try it again. I imagine myself floating and... whoa, I do float! It feels so effortless too! Did I suddenly get better at magic? I dunno... LET'S. TRY. IT. OUT.

5 minutes later...

Uh oh, this is too much. I'm so tired... it looks like I overexerted myself. Gotta lie down at the edges for a bit... but this is seriously amazing. To think that I've reached Ostia in so short a time... even flying meters was quite a task for me before. What's happening to me? Is it because of that zappy feel?

Well, not that I'm complaining. I feel like my mana is a lot more now, time to learn some real magic.

"Hmmm... I don't know, I have something to do, a job given to me by the manager from where Stella's dad was working. I'll have to take care of it."

「Straha pats her head and push her off gently.」

「Stella seems reluctant to let him go, but she knows that she can't convince to stay so she just nods and sees him off.」

"Take care of yourself Straha, good luck with whatever comes your way and don't go dying now!"
"Same goes for you Desfel, hope that mistress of yours will recover soon!"

「Straha laughs, enters his ship and lifts off. I pat Stella and as we walked back in, I see Yula at the doorstep, looking at me with a confused, yet sad face. Surprised to see her, I quickly ran towards her.」

「She almost collapses but I managed to get a hold of her and walked her inside. We sat down on the sofa, Lila is still asleep.」

"So... How are you feeling now?"
"I'm fine... A bit tired..."
"....."
".... Where are we?"
"At Stella's place, don't worry about it, it's a safe place and she's a sweet little girl."
"...I can tell."
"What happened back there?"
"I... don't really know..."

「As she says that, Stella comes back down from her room and prepares diner.」

Sent my computer to be fixed. This is the fourth time I've done so. Let's see if it comes back alive. If not, I might have to buy a new one.

It's only four years old, but I always have it on even if I don't use it. Plus it started malfunctioning after a heat wave that we had so that might have had something to do with it.
