Isn't this thread supposed to be about how Longevity's thread disappeared? When has a thread that's lasted more than two pages ever remained unthreadjacked in IB?

edit: I would admit I was wrong, if I was wrong.
Yeah ok you keep telling yourself that and I'll keep actually being right and not so fucking stupid I can't tell left from right.

In this instance, there are two brands of Kroger. The brand of the company. And the brand of the product, the store.
At one point, yes, they were the same.
However, because the product has the majority of its locations in the south now, the brand has changed and much of its association is now with the south.

Kroger's is the largest grocery chain in the United States of America, they have over 200 stores in practically every state. Wait, do you work for Kroger's? You seem to state this "most of their stores are in the south" with ample confidence.

Well considering it is an implication, it means that you can't go "This is what is means' for certain. And with the broadness of the statement it means there is room for judgment on what it could mean.Just because you want to pick out a particular statement YOU think it SHOULD mean doesn't mean what I'm said I was implying is wrong.
It just means you don't agree with my interpretation.
And considering I wrote the damn thing, what I say takes precedence over what you say.
So suck it.
No no no no no no you can not go around interpreting things the way you want under the excuse "I said it so I know what it means." Even if you say something with a set idea of what you want it to mean you can still fuck up somewhere and have what you said come out meaning something different. Which is exactly what happened.
YOU ARE WRONG. Deal with it and move the fuck on.
Except what I said can mean what I expected it to mean.
So the problem lies not with what was stated, but with the interpretation.
edit: I would admit I was wrong, if I was wrong.
If you want to get a message across, it is YOUR job to make sure it is said in a way everyone else's interpretation is the same as yours. If not, then you have not done a good job at relaying your message and thus it is your fault.

Also; Ohio, rest snipped
You seem to be misunderstanding.
They do have over 200 stores in practically ever state.
They, however, do not have 200 Kroger brand stores in practically every state.
I have at one point in my life, yes.
Again, Company Brand =/= Product Brand. They are interrelated, but are not the same.

The point of communication is to get your point across properly and make sure the other person can understand it the way you want them to. If they are more knowledgeable, they will correct you and you will have to admit that you are wrong.

The Kroger brand for their stores, however, is primarily a southern concept.Krogers was founded in Ohio. Its headquarters are in Ohio.
The kroger STORE is a southern concept.
The store =/= the company. It is a sub-part of the company.
Which means that while the Company is in Ohio, the store can have an entirely different location and meaning.
you sure your not think the piggly wiggly

Conversely, if Kroger bought out other chains in the south, THOSE would be Kroger-branded stores. But not necessarily named "Krogers". For example, Dillons.
In conclusion, Ohio, Ohio, Ohio. Ohio, Ohio. Ohio Ohio Ohio.

i am now convinced you're just a troll and being intentionally stupid. I guess that's a step up from being actually stupid.
