I dont like most cops
half of the times they are mean and to many time do they jump to the wrong fucking conclusion.
hospitals are the same way.

your story would have been better if you had a velociraptor attack when the police shown up. Would also have been good if it ended in bel air.

Well, take in to consideration that the maintenance employees were probably thigh-high in house calls already. They can't reach everyone, and they don't even have to. I would imagine that would also go along with something like the employer not being able to force them to work in hazardous conditions.
Right now, we're having yet another giant wind storm(nothing unusual for my city, given it is labeled the windiest city in Canada). But on my trip to the bank(earlier this morning), I walked outside onto my street, and freaked out when I saw that my neighbors house had not one, but two massive trees laying on top of it. The house is pretty much destroyed, and one of the people is still inside of the house, covered under rubble. I talked to the one of the city workers, and they said they've been trying to get that person out for a good 3 hours, but they have to be delicate because they don't know where she is, as she's most likely already dead or unconscious.
After comforting my neighbors for a bit, I went to the bank only to find out it was closed due to electrical failure, so I went to the ATM at the Petro Can down the street(those guys are troopers, they stay open no matter what) withdrew some money out of the ATM and then rounded back to Tim Hortons. I brought the firemen and my neighbors some hot coffee to drink and then decided to retire to my house and take a nap because Illumi and I had been talking about NGE for 3 hours previously, and I had only gotten about 4 hours sleep when I heard the massive bang that literally rocked my house.
Most of my area is getting hit hard, and unbelievably they even have snow for-casted for the town I used to live in in B.C.
