I just bought a new phone last month. I bought the cheapest one. People call it lame and stuff, like "Your phone sucks. Doesn't have any wi-fi.", or "It ain't touchscreen. How do I use it? This is ancient technology". I didn't need any "store a pile of music and only play some of them" or "take tons of pictures of one subject repetitively" technology. I just needed a phone that can accept calls, can do SMS, play the radio, and be a flashlight when needed. And suck my dick.

It took one commercial to make me lose my shit. There's a lot more to the story than just that but holy fuck the way everything hit me at once was depressing to say the least of it.

Samsung. Apple is very close on that list of rage inducing things however [right next to running out of toilet paper at the most crucial of times].

But yea I mean this is what life has devolved to. Your worth determined by how 'advanced' your phone is. This really applies to everything else but yea..

This is how I feel about Skype. Their "Changes and upgrades" always affect the program in a negative way, and when you try to downgrade there is no simple way to disable automatic updates.
