I'm liking season 1 way better so far...especially after they revealed Varrick to be a villain......he was the best one...

I want to like it but the writing's been crap since the shitty love triangle gimmick in season 1. Also, the animation for season 2 has been significantly downgraded.

I think the writing is taking a bit because they only planned for the first season and it's taking them a bit to get things sorted I think. I believe as it gets closer on to the end it should improve back to where it is, especially for the next two books because they'll have the time to redevelop the plot.

The animation I think is because they switched studios. Dunno why they did, though the next two episodes are by the previous studio for season 1 at least.
