Legend of Korra

Season 3 has been awesome so far, much better than season 2.

My biggest quarrel with Legend of Korra is that Mako bent lightning in the first season even though The Last Airbender made a huge deal out it and explained that lightning bending was the epitomy of firebending and only masters of the art would be able to do it. Iroh couldn't bend lightning without huge ceremonial gestures, and Zuko was only able to redirect lightning. Yet Mako, who grew up on the streets and taught himself bending, was able to bend lightning like it was nobody's business. Actually, the place where Mako worked part-time in Season 1 had a ton of lightning benders charging generators.

Granted, Mako hasn't been bending lightning in season 2 or 3 at all, so maybe the writers realized how much they screwed up ^^"



Aside from that, I like Korra for what it is. It's good entertainment and season 3 has some good character developement so far in my opinion.

I find myself strangely attracted to the 2 evil chicks.

I watched episode 10 today... and holy shit that was intense. One of the best episodes of the whole series.

I bought the whole series for my l'il sister.

She and the second youngest love it.

my friend Danny and i thought that would be the ultimate bending ability (taking one's breath away), but since it's not and the ultimate form of airbending has yet to be revealed, i'm curious what it'll be

i mean, waterbenders have bloodbending, earthbenders have metalbending, and firebenders can shoot lightning.

if Avatar wasn't basically a kids show, it'd probly be something like crushing a body with the oxygen flowing through it.
or pumping air into someones lungs until their chest explodes.

In addition to bloodbending, water benders could probably fuck with a person's eyes. Crush them or suck all the moisture out. I'd like to think earth benders could do something to people's skin. We do have dirt in our pores, right?

Earthbenders also have lava-bending.
Firebenders also have combustion blasts if you get the third eye tattoo.

I think its pretty good. not as good as the last air bender but hey could they really do any better. Plus korra is pretty hot not as hot as Toph but still hot!

Woah. Think about the metals we have in our body like iron or zinc.
Imagine if they could bend that shit. Your arm could just explode like some fucked up Elfen Lied shit.
And what about the metal armor the Republic City police wear?
If you were a metalbender, you could probably crush their body with their own armor, like crushing a soda can.

I hope the finale episodes are as good as the whole season has been.

Note that Mystique had to inject a lot of liquid metal into the guard before Magneto could affect it, but hey, metal's metal, right?

I think the show is a nice spinoff. What the FUCK happend to Zukos mother, is she alive or taking a dirt nap?
