you don't need to make an account for it.
just open the friend List icon on the main menu and you'll see your own friend Code.
it's already in your 3DS so it's pretty much permanent until you've decided to get another 3DS or something.

i think i've seen that before.
but then again,not much of 3DS games grabs my attention so i didn't play much of it too.

why does it sound like you are trying to talk "for" him?
