Sometimes I do it when my roommates asleep, and it's easy to tell because he snores. Other than that, bathroom, lock your room, anticipate your roommate's time schedule are the obvious alternatives.

My HDTV is the computer screen. I used the HDMI port to plug it in the tv, so I have a 46 inch computer screen/game screen/movie screen. All in one ^_^
