The problem with this statement, is that there isn't really a balance. The prophets and gods of other religions were made fun of in the very same episode where nothing bad was said about Muhammad whatsoever, and yet there's no major threat of violence from Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Mormans, Hindus, etc. This means that one religion apparantly is more important than the others just because they threaten people, and thought I don't care what religion anyone has, they should all have the same rights. So, if we can't show or say anything about Muhammad, then the same should be said for Jesus, Moses, Buddha, Krishna, etc.



We aren't really hating on the religions, just the extremists who can't take a joke.

If we are not allowed to say whatever we want to uncensored, then we don't have freedom of speech, and if I remember correctly, the first amenment says ALL Americans have freedom of religion, of speech, of the press, to assemble, and to petition.

Seriously, I think the threat is a load of nonsense. I mean if you seriously want to kill someone or even be tied in some way to a murder would you declare it, especially when youre in the US and using a forum

Its just news on TV... just packaged to attract people to watch it. and people do, without really caring at times what theyre taking in.

Now more people would want to watch southpark to see what all the fuzz is about, even adults who dont even know much about the show or have interest originally
