The thing I don't understand is why they bother to have multiple people in the same machine controlling it.
Seems kind of asinine unless it was one controlling movement and the other controlling weapons. But that doesn't seem to be the case.

The acting wasn't that bad... But, the action was the best part about it ;D

Pros: Giant action scenes in urban terrain, the CGI.
Cons: Typical character, cliche dialog, plot holes in the story, the story itself, the lacking ending, lack of character development.
I felt like they were promoting analog use.....

I'm honestly bad at judging acting unless it's really crappy. So I can't tell you if it was bad or good.

I can explain this...
The burden is too much for a single pilot... First of all, the controls of the machine is linked to the brains and neural network of the pilot, but in doing so, it puts too much stress on the human brain as the brain can only use 1/2 of it's capacity. Now by adding another person, the stress is shared and by having to know well or have a good sync with one another, piloting the jaeger will be easier/better.
That's how the gist of it goes.
