You do realize that most games these days are PC-Ports, right? As in, it was originally for console but one set of publishers decided that they want it for PC and that it'd sell, yes? Albeit I am not going to argue the whole emulation part, it just doesn't happen that often these days with PC-Ports being so common, but at the same time I don't know if you can do a reverse of it.

I'm both pc and console gamer, if my game doesn't run smoothly on my pc. i go to consoles~ : /

Unfortunately, yes they are. I miss those days of going to the arcades, waiting in line for a game, and duking it out. Winner stays, loser pays and goes back in the end of the line.

To me, the arcades were like the streets, it's like a harsh world when you first experience it, but once you get into the arcade scene, you learn to socialize among other gamers outside of sitting within the confinements of home, and most arcade-goers become brethren for games they love to play.

Arcades were the best. i just happened to stumble upon one while in Los Angeles with my friends. it had a Hokuto no Ken machine (the one with the punching targets) as well as the Alien Vs Predator arcade game (the old beat-em-up by Capcom) and Typing of the Dead.

if there's one thing i want to buy once i get enough money its an arcade cabinent

on-topic PCs are obviously better for games, but at the same time my PS3 is not going to get a virus nor will i need to buy a new one every 2 years or so just to run a game.
