Split decision....
For a nice mellow love song in spanish...
Mana' - En El Muelle De San Blas...
For Metal...
Either...
Pito Wilson - Brujeria
damn couldnt find a better quality one at the moment...
or...
Asesino - Brujeria...

Hmm, don't know any songs in my mother tongue i like... Rammstein would be too obvious. I'll go with an underground band.
The Magnificent Brotherhood (60s styled neopsych rock from Berlin, Germany)
Language is English, though...
Oh, and some mainstream bands, here you go (both in German)
Wir sind Helden (really fun to listen to)
Silbermond (cheesy... REALLY)

My favorite song doesnt have any words in it.
Devil Theory - Jeff Loomis
However my favorite song with words is from a Swedish band called Edge of Sanity. Its called Crimson, and its 40 minutes long. Also, Crimson II, which is also 40 minutes long.
I HIGHLY doubt that someone here will sit through all 1 hour and 20 minutes of this there first time, but here are the youtube links anyway... cant find the one segment of Crimson II called Achilles Heel but its only about 2.5 minutes so no big deal :/

I don't often listen to Dutch music, so even if I remember good songs (which I do) I am unable to remember the artist or name. The only name that springs to mind is De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig.
And that really isn't my favourite Dutch song. So one could wonder why the hell I am posting it.
