Kh3 you mean... and no. I'd have a ps3, if that was it. I will probably get a ps3 if it comes to ps3 as well, so 1.5hd, ffx hd and 3. Depends though

Why the fuck do you want a console?Because I don't want to shell out several hundred bucks for a new graphics card every few months.
Are you implying they become obsolete after a few months, or do you just break things easily?
They pretty much become obsolete the moment I buy them. It seems like every time I can finally afford to get a decent one, there's always a newer one just entering the market.

Oh sure because computers arent like that at all!
Its only obsolete if youre a conceited cunt locked in consumer culture
They come out with newer consoles that all play the same games with no real reason to upgrade anyway
But the next version of set console takes 5-15 years. Xbox360-1, you cant tell me that process took two months.
Owned.

You don't need the latest cards to play the latest games. My comp is now 2 years old and I used to have a not-latest grade GPU, I couldn't play Crysis 3 on Ultra, I'll give you that (Even if the reason Crytech games take a lot of juice is because Crytech can't write functioning code, not because they're actually high-end) but it's not like I wasn't able to play everything on essentially the highest of settings.
The 3-4 year old cards is starting to loose ground now but will play essentially everything pre Q1 2013 without a problem, and a 3 year old model goes for like what? $150 or something?

Unless you're buying pretty outdated stuff, you should be fine.
If my my desktop was still working(finished in 2010), it could still play most modern games at high settings.
There isn't really a future proof computer or parts, but there's still stuff out there that could last a few years without being irrelevant.

So I should be fine with my pre-built desktop with this in place of the stock card for a few more years?

The 6670 is pretty old as it is and worse yet it's low-profile, that price is also way too high. If you spent an extra $50 - $60 on a video card that isn't low-profile you wouldn't have to worry about upgrading so often.
Buy your parts from TigerDirect or NewEgg.
I'm running an i3-3240 @ 3.4Ghz and a 1GB XFX Radeon 7750 with 8GB of Corsair @ 1633Mhz. It cost me about $500 to build two years ago and still runs every game on the market on high.
