Scanlations are going away.

I don't find the content to be worth the cost.

My preference would have been small microtransactions for individual content. Nearly all of it has no appeal for me.

Every time somebody has said small microtransactions or similar, they've said something along the lines of 'why not charge $1 or $2.50 each for a manga/ chapter' and the answer is 'get a subscription and read 10 or less a month, and you're already in the green. It's already a fair bit cheaper than over in moonspeakland for chapters from what I gather.

Still, content does need to be a bit more varied, but that'll happen once the transition is fully complete, and more people realise fakku is legit, and sign up. Fingers crossed anyway

I think I'm going to stick around. I've been here for over 5 years and and in that time I have had a lot of good times. Times that I would have never thought possible a year before I joined. I even learned life lessons from this site for ducks sake, things that helped me cope with reality a little bit better. I accept where Jacob is going with this site, it was inevitable, but at least I will be seeing more uncensored hentai manga that I couldn't even imagine 2 years ago, and I don't mind paying for it if I'll be getting new content regularly.

Once Fakku releases Shitsurakuten and Kairakuten BEAST then it'll be really worth and much more.

I'm sad to see scanlations go away, especially since they were just so close to lasting 10 years on here (remember the times when Jacob posted Asuka doujins here? [go mari or go home, btw :^)]). Still, there are tons of scanlation websites out there, but there's only one website that does the legit books. ...the content's a different story, since so far I'm not interested in any of them as a whole, but hey, it's still growing. Hell, maybe there'll be some Fei around, who knows. There might even be a DATE/Fatalpulse for the people who'd rather see how messed up the stories can get/the people who actually masturbate to hardcore NTR/parasites/brain control (not my cup of tea outside of the stories themselves, but hey).



Honestly, the writing section's the main reason I'm staying around, so thanks for having it. I might also start going on the vidya section more often. I'm not really sure how can the forums be better, since I'm already satisfied with the way they are, but if you manage to make them even better regardless, that would be awesome!
