My sis finally gave uo on anime and switched permanently to cartoons. She said she's sick and tired of all the male directed fan service.

Economics, males will invest in it more of there is fan service tailored to them than would women if it were directed at them. It's still an industry and is driven by profits.

Tell Her to Watch Free! I'm pretty sure it's not devoted to male fanservice, unless your into dudes in speedo's, I don't judge.

Haven't watched an anime in months. Also this. I mean, I watched the last few episodes of gurren lagann a few hours ago, but now I'm watching transformers. Think it's time to start watching south park or family guy, or viva la bam, or maybe red vs blue... one of them

She was probably just watching stuff like To Love Ru and Highschool DXD.And that is why I was right in not giving two craps in wanting to watch To Love Ru in particular from the get go because series like that seem to rely only on fanservice to thrive and continue in the industry and that really irks me.

To be fair, the Manga of To Love Ru is a lot better; The anime is terrible.

Why am I not so surprised by this?
Still not touching the manga, though.
