Just because there already IS a translation out there doesn't mean that it's a "good" one (well dudes always scream for a translation and then don't read the text after all, so apparently noone cares)... plus every translator puts a personal touch on it.

Since i couldn't understand japanese, and entirely basing my judgement on both translations, how is the one done by nameless a lesser work? Both translations seems to give the same idea. Better choice of words? changing of font when nameless already picked a font with good readability? that's hardly a gap of difference in my opinion. Kindly tell me

That's like saying the abridged version of Book X is as good as the original one; because both convey the same idea. I'm well aware that H-manga isn't exactly literature but a TL with proper grammar, more accurate translation deserves a pat on the back and in this case the re-translation is more than justified.
If you are happy with a lesser translation/looking at the pictures only then go ahead.

Well, I get your point. I think you can only really tell if you read the raw and then compare both translations (something not everybody can do, so I understand what you're getting at).
I did a retranslation before too and what can I say? That other translator apparently failed in his first year of jap class (well the quality was crappy too, but that's besides the point).
It's a translator thing, I guess... the need to "stay true" to the original.

Well, I get your point. I think you can only really tell if you read the raw and then compare both translations (something not everybody can do, so I understand what you're getting at).

In my opinion the original translation wasn't as clear about what happened to who. Gibbous actually showed me the original and admitted he was a fan of it but it was muggy on what happened to which person. That was a good enough reason for me to take it and add it to our collection.
If you've read the doujin, and know what's happened then I can explain why I wanted to have it added to our collection, but within the spoil are spoils. So nobody click if you don't want to know about the plot
