This is the first art club on Fakku (and hopefully the last). Here we contribute, give "constructive criticism"(whatever that may mean!), circle-jerk, show works made by us or artists we liked, share tips, or just relax and talk to each other unrelated chit-chat. I made this thread thinking of everyone who either started drawing or would love to start. I myself just started around 2 months ago, and I'm enjoying everyday of it. Anyone can draw as long as they have a hand and a normal vision. Once you come to terms with this masochistic hobby, you will find it exciting once you see for the first time an actual face on paper, made by your own two hands, and you might even feel a chill and excitement when that happens, and you will want it to happen more. Any artists you guys like? I'm talking about those who draw clothed figures with something other than sex happening. I'd say Hiroaki Samura and toi_(number8).

I kind feel like you can't get any recognition/attention out there (by out there I meant the internet) if you don't do digital. I know it's really not the case, but it's what it feels like :c

it's tricky IMO. having 2 colors blend w/o looking like crap is hard, plus controlling the amount of water you apply and the strokes not looking like kiddy strokes. Horror.
