Most of the stuff I read nowadays are among the non-fiction categories~
I recommend Art of War by Sun Zi, and Dao De Jing by Lao Tzu, it's a really inspiring read
For the fiction ones I like the 'Winnetou' series written by Karl May
This one's non-fiction although it was written in a narrative that's similar to a story, you might also want to look up 'Papillon' by Henri Charriere

I love Ernest Hemingway, his skill on writing dialogue is unmatched! :3
"The old man and the sea" is my favorite. Besides that and "For whom the bell tolls" I haven't read anymore of his works. It's difficult to find it in my place...

I've finished all the Harry Potter books years ago... With book 7 being the fastest at 3 days. Then Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy aka Golden Compass, Subtle Knife, Amber Spyglass... Then IDK what else have I been reading.

[font=verdana][color=green]Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky is a classic. If you have to read a book by Dostoyevsky, it has to be this one. I won't reveal too much, but it is highly engaging and raises many moral questions.

Malcolm Gladwell's books such as The Outliers, The Tipping Point, What the Dog Saw: And Other Adventures, and Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking.
My favorite book is Blink which shows the essence of thinking.
I also read philosophical books, and articles/books related to Politics.
“Fools admire everything in an author of reputation. For my part, I read only to please myself. I like only that which serves my purpose.”
†• Voltaire

The Tao of Pooh should be required reading for everyone. As for books I've read and think are very discussable:
Spoiler:
Especially The Road and Blindness.
My primary reads are fantasy though, i.e The Hobbit, The Sword of Truth series, etc.
Edit: Almost forgot. The original Winnie the Pooh book is just fantastic.

Hamlet - Shakespeareyay!
OT:
I havent really read that many books outside books for my study...
Im reading "Dead Aid: Why aid is not working and how there is another way for Africa" by Dambisa Moyo atm. Its really interesting read. The last book I read was "Bad Science" by Ben Goldacre which is definitely a recommended read for anybody interested health and more particularly health new and all the non-sense pseudoscience that is believed to be medicine these days...
But the last fiction books Ive read would probably be when I re-read the Abhorsen triology by Garth Nix.

They were good, and I personally like these three:
1984 - George Orwell
Animal Farm - George Orwell
Farenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury
That and the Ann Rand books too.

Why only those three? Are those books more equal than others?
