Only book series I've actually finished is
Worldwar (4 books) by Harry Turtledove
Colonization (3 books. Sequel to the Worldwar series) by Harry Turtledove
Homeward Bound (1 book. Sequel to the Colonization series) by Harry Turtledove.
Days of Infamy by Harry Turtledove
End of the Beginning (Sequel to Days of Infamy) By Harry Turtledove
I've read the Suzumiya light novels. Does that count?
War of the Worlds
The Outsiders

[font=verdana][color=green]Lack of Dostoyevsky is depressing me. Me too, "The Idiot" opened my eyes on so many levels, and because of "Crime and Punishment" I had to pay a fine, and a heavy one too- I was reading it on a train, and it made me miss my station. By about 300km.
Say what you will, but XIX century Russian literature is superior to anything written in the west, and, to my mind, can be rivaled only by the four great Chinese classics.

[color=#006FFF]For anyone who enjoys a good mystery story, I highly recommend a certain series of novels by Sue Grafton; the series is commonly referred to as her "alphabet mysteries". This is so because each novel is entitled with a different letter. For example, the first releases in the series are A is for Alibi, B is for Burglar, C is for Corpse, D is for Deadbeat, etc..
They all follow Private Investigator, Kinsey Millhone, with the various cases she's assigned to. You don't necessarily have to read them in order either. I found out about the series through a class of mine which actually has D is for Deadbeat as an assigned "text", and ever since I started it, I've hardly been able to put it down. After I finish it, I plan on going back to A and starting from there. Grafton just recently released the 22nd entry in the series: V is for Vengeance.
Just a suggested series of mystery novels to those of whom it may pique the interest.

World Warrior
Finished reading "Journey To The West".
Great Chinese novel.
Finishing up "The Count of Monte Cristo". It took me a long while to get to the last few chapters, and it'll take me about another week to finish it.

Spoiler:
The most recent book I've read would be Metro 2033. It was very, very good. Certainly one of those "The journey is better than the end" type books.
I also started reading Maria-sama ga miteru (Light Novel) and finished out through what B-T has translated in the earlier volumes, started watching the anime and depending on my liking, I may just read the light novels through the rest, because so far the anime is just meh.
