1000 gram = 1 kilogram
1000 kilogram = 1 ton

makes sense doesn't it?

10 millimeter = 1 centimeter
10 centimeter = 1 decimeter
100 centimeter / 10 decimeter = 1 meter
1000 meter = 1 kilometer

Now your weird yard system and lbs is well... screwed up. This one is a nice decimal system which makes perfect sense :D

all i need to know is

1 yard = 3 feet
1 foot=12inches
1mph= 5280ft in a hours time
1lb= 16 ounces

thats more simpler the say

1 pound =453.59237 grams

And that is why you poor bastards are being screwed over :D because here you get for 1 pound 500 gram as they just round it up :D
