And so, gents- and the one or two ladies perhaps maybe- it's that time of year again. It is time to stake your claim upon those fictional people that we love and adore so much. Because we can. Fuck the police. EACH WAIFU GAME HAS THREE(3) THREADS DEDICATED TO IT; GAME, LIST, AND DISCUSSION. -THE GAME THREADIS WHERE CLAIMS AND DIVORCES ARE MADE. NOTHING ELSE. NOTHING MORE. -THE GAME LIST THREAD IS WHERE ALL THE ALREADY CLAIMED CHARACTERS ARE LISTED. FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. SO THAT YOU MAY KNOW WHO'S ALREADY BEEN CLAIMED. SO YOU DON'T TRY TO CLAIM THEM. BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE OTHER THAN YOURSELF WHO IS NOT YOU HAS ALREADY DONE IT BEFORE YOU DID. SO DON'T TRY. -THE GAME DISCUSSION THREAD (The one you are currently in.) IS WHERE ALL OTHER THINGS ABOUT THE GAME ARE POSTED. YOU DO NOT POST YOUR CLAIMS/DIVORCES IN HERE. YOU POST EVERYTHING ELSE THAT IS NOT A CLAIM/DIVORCE IN HERE. -ALL CLAIM POSTS CANNOT BE EDITED WITHIN THE FIRST SIX(6) HOURS AFTER THE START OF A ROUND. FOR ANY REASON. ANY POSTS THAT HAVE BEEN EDITED WITHIN THAT TIME PERIOD WILL VOID THEIR CLAIMS. IF IN DOUBT, MAKE A NEW POST. Mechas -Introduced last game by Art, you may claim a mecha in addition to your regular five (5) claims. -Mechas may only be claimed beginning on the 1st of February. -Mecha claims must include the full name, and model number (if applicable), of the mech, and the name of the series it comes from. -Rule check: Copy/Paste "Livin' la vida loca" in the Discussion thread now, or in your claim post once the game begins. Failure to do so will result in me voiding your claim on account of having not read the rules. NEW RULE Sixth Slot Some users may be able to earn themselves a sixth slot, but the conditions for doing so may be complicated. Read carefully, I will try to make it as clear as possible. -If, across several users, a number of characters that are recognised as a group/set are claimed- all involved users may claim a sixth(6) waifu. e.g. Last Game, all of the members of Team RWBY (of the web series of the same name) were claimed by these users, as such- completing a recognised set- each of these users would get an extra waifu. -The number of characters doesn't matter. Even just Panty and Stocking would qualify those users for the extra. -The number of users, however, does matter. One user cannot try to complete the set on his own for the bonus. It must be a collaborative effort across several users. -With series of extraordinarily large casts (Touhou, Negima, Girls Und Panzer, Bleach, etc.) groups within can qualify. e.g. Within the myriad of characters within the Touhou universe- you guys don't need to try and claim all of them- just a recognised set. Such as the girls of The Scarlet Devil Mansion. -Ultimately, what qualifies as a set is a matter of self-policing, since it's impossible for any one person to know everything. The final call is still up to me, however. -The bonus can be claimed six(6) hours after the start of a round. -PLEASE PROVIDE EVIDENCE. When claiming your bonus, please link to the other users' claims to show me that you have, indeed, completed a set. -Having multiple characters of multiple sets does not mean you can claim multiple extras. You get only one(1) extra. -IN THE EVENT OF A DIVORCE WITHIN THE SET, making the set no longer complete- only the person who has divorced will lose their sixth waifu. All other users who were part of the set get to keep theirs. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Hitagi Senjougahara from Bakemonogatari is once again claimable upon the condition that you defeat Waar in an arm wrestling match. Please post a timestamp as proof.

In iMuse's defense, the game is more for the community than it is for the game master; if it's possible to avoid things that would greatly inconvenience the players, you probably should...

In my own defense, I didn't think that it would inconvenience a great many people.

As far as I know- Christmas consists of spending the morning with family and presents, and then the rest of the day being just like any other, except all the shops are closed.

I'm pretty sure he edited the secret words into his post after I claimed her. I was keeping any eye on it after I noticed he forgot it. He wasn't on from the 2nd to the 5th and I don't think I missed if he put it in then. Don't know if time stamp of when it was edited can be checked.

Wayne, sorry to bother, but I've noticed that that on the master list my claim of Elesa didn't have an asterisk next to it to show that it was claimed by means of the sixth slot. Upon noticing that, I then looked for my claim of Ibuki Mioda and it wasn't on the master list at all.

Was it invalid, or perhaps a mistake? Just thought I'd bring it to your attention.

In jacks defense....

its not the first time its been done on Christmas

he was shoved into the position with little prior warning and less prep time.

time zones can't please everyone.

and I don't see why people are bitching I worked 8.5 hours that day, drove to my families house, did the Christmas shtick, made my claim from my phone and still made 1st page, and then went about my day.

I don't think Jack figured it would be an inconvenience to anybody, so I'm not sure it's fair to say he wasn't thinking about the community. From what I understand and what others are saying, this was thrown onto him kind of last minute. At least it happened at all.

I understand that my phrasing might have seemed to mean that I thought he wasn't being thoughtful of the community, but I wish to clarify that that wasn't my intention. I was more meaning that, even though he himself believed that not that many people would be busy on Christmas, due to the number of people requesting the date to be changed he could have indulged them.

Time zones making things difficult for some is unavoidable, but there were other days that week that we could have chosen from to still allow Saturday to be round 2, and even proposed a few other options to give us a little more prep time.

All I was getting at was that maybe upsetting some of the players who had plans that day could have been avoided, though will say that I do very much understand that, due to various time constraints, and knowing that, for many, Christmas is just another day, why he decided to leave the starting day unchanged. I'm sure that, though the situation might not've be ideal, Jack did what he felt would be right for the game with the resources he had. I'm very much grateful for Jack hosting in such short notice, allowing us to even be here playing at all, and I'm very sorry if it seemed like I meant otherwise.

I thought it always started on a Saturday (as well as all subsequent rounds); was that something that was only true for these last few games?

Not really it started at waar-o-clock meaning whenever he got to it sometimes it was late on the promised day....sometimes it was a day after.....never knew what to expect

She's a Class D Reyvateil in the 3rd generation Reyvateils. Although Class D Reyvateils are generally poorer in ability, she won't lose in feelings for her partner when singing for him! And I'd clear her cosmosphere anytime...As long as it eases her pain.

She's a very shy girl who is very distrustful of humans because of what happened to her during her childhood...She's just an innocent, tortured soul...trapped and waiting to be rescued.

She can only live to be 15 to 20 years of age unless she takes the Diliquity crystal which hurts a lot...I'd administer it with loving care anytime!

Though, she can be a ditz and she gives some really weird names to things, but...She's a devoted, loving girl. She relies a lot on her love, and I wouldn't mind it at all!

Her dream was to become the holy maiden of the church, but after meeting the love of her life, She decided to make music boxes with him, together, forever.
