Its good and bad that they only like arranges. Good because its part of the same following yet in an entirely different direction than the games and written material. Just another example of how unusually large and diverse the Touhou following is. Bad because at least from your perspective its like that person is missing out on the rest of everything we call Touhou.

Page seams can't be helped. The artist didn't seem to realize or intend for the image would be in a book to begin with or he/she would have drawn it differently. The pictures would make nice posters.

Oh, we are the same in that regard then. The person who introduced me to Touhou is always asking me for fan-arrangements updates nowadays, no interest to play danmaku, reading official mango, or whatsoever. I suppose it's just too difficult to charm more capable people to play and learn.

It's also adorable to see how she seems to seek for something while her condition is like... that. There is also another side of Koishi that you wouldn't probably expect in HM.

It's 18.3 PPG, 4.8 RPG, and 7.5 APG, coach. Actually, no, not really. My best achievement is only that of my TD high-scores. If it's worth mentioning, I also haven't failed to clear EoSD and PCB ever since I cleared both the first time in mid-2011.
Precisely. I owe him one for showing me Touhou, so it's kinda unfortunate that he doesn't walk on the same route as me. Just like you said, there are more than one method to enjoy Touhou. But then again, you don't purchase a PC so you can play Solitaire.

I don't mind the fanon, i like it to a certain extent, (as long it doesn't get too annoying for example), but i prefer canon over it.

I don't think anyone I know cares beyond momentary curiosity. The person I can think of doesn't game at all in any aspect. The person who introduced me to touhou isn't aware the game has been translated or anything beyond the game(s) being notoriously difficult to newcomers. He doesn't play it much but he is a legit (PC/console/arcade/anything) gamer.
The pictures are really well done. Its a shame theres a page seam in the middle of the bigger ones. Kudos to paying attention to Remi's and Ran's shoes. The yukari one is very nice.
I know this is late... but I gotta comment that it's pretty good too. I don't like it with the "page seam" in the pictures, and I wish there was a larger drawing of just Flan-chan. :3

Furthermore, why would a Chinese-dressing youkai build a European-style mansion? I don't clearly remember what he answered in detail, but I recall that he quoted some lines from Akatsuki Dou's works, which is terrible beyond words. The "discussion" went one-sidedly since he didn't allow me to talk, so yeah.
Oh and an additional information, he did play the games but had yet to clear one (nor understanding one).
It's not really believable, but such creature does exist.
That being said, you need to be wary of the thing. Having and emphasizing both proper knowledge and experience usually lead to elitism, in which so many people scorn. Elitism is not for us to boast, but sometimes, it's necessary to filter who you are talking with.

But you see, someone adamant enough, as in not listening to outside factor at all, is a level you don't see eye-to-eye often in real life. It's more about how you control your own action by the time it occurs. Your hand itself has 2 usefulness in that kind of situation; one is to slap him, and the other is to slap yourself so you don't either slap or strangle him.

About the first thing you learned, first one has always been true. I just don't use ero pictures of Flan-chan. Everyone else is fair game, just like the jiang shi, Yoshika Miyako. I won't ever use explicit pictures though.
And the second thing you learned, that has nearly always been true. She is just outranked by Momiji, Chen, Flan-chan, Ran, Orin, Shou, and Reisen (in no particular order).
