I'm not a big fan of figmas (because of the visible joints) but that looks pretty nice.

Depends on the type of figma you get. I got 3 figmas of Flan-chan, and only one of them has visible joints. :3

You having figmas is new to me. How did you get them?

From an online company from Japan... unfortunately, that's the only way for someone who can't travel to Japan to do to get them.

I could benefit from the name, would you please? I don't have credit card to compete, but at least knowing what they have in the catalog would be valuable for future references. Who knows if one day I might be rich enough to have a pool inside of my pool even though I cannot swim.

Well, I use myfigurecollection.net as a resource to find figures. They have listing of possible online places that may sell the figure you're interested in.
I, however, use J-List as my source to purchase the figures.

Hurgh, there is also PCB. If I had the official copy, that would be more than just icing on the cake.

A bit of a tangent here, but regarding that thing you said before about a "medium" that we can all interact, chat and be alive on, https://discordapp.com/ just might work.

Think of it as like Skype without everything that makes Skype bad. We can create a Touhou Game Club server. Servers are free to create, and every server has text channels and voice channels that anyone can join freely. (people can talk over other people unlike Skype where one would cut off the other, therefore two people can yell at jenkins simultaneously.)

I've been using the software myself (BiBi is using it too) and I give it a gitaaa seal of approval. Only thing that I have against it is the "loading messages" that shows whenever you start it up, but that's a small issue. You can launch it from a browser, but there's a desktop app that makes stuff easier.

If enough people are interested, let's fire up that TGC server.

I actually have never heard of this. But then again, I was never fond with chat engines or anything similar. Well, I am sure I would love to get yelled at by 2 guys in the same time. Besides, the interface is pretty spiffy. My username is Ibaraki and will always be.

One thing, is it possible to change the default avatar? Not that I complain a lot, which I do, but pig's nose holes are too explicit for my liking.

Naturally, Byakuren is better than Sukuna.

I'm a bit busy right now, so you should go make the server, jen. Fiddle with the server settings, the permissions/roles, then generate a server invite and send em at us. I'm glad you guys like the software, I really like it too.

Also discord auto embeds links and images, but you can turn that off at the settings.

The devs are really cool and they actually talk to users; I asked them if they're gonna implement quoting like on skype and they said they're working on it.



Awesome. With bibi and jencat, that makes four of us. If Jen's too busy doing Jen stuff, you should make the server, zafu.

I just registered yesterday and I already got an automated email from one of the developers. It is a good first step.

We shall see how things turn out first as I've been a little busy recently doing my things, which is actually nothing. Personally, I don't mind if either of you or Zafi is up to be the server's creator.

I went and made the TGC server.

Trials of Engagement

A Belated Post-Mortem

Almost exactly two years ago Trials of Engagement was put on hold indefinitely in the final phase, followed by the club's eventual shift away from F! into the TGC Discord Server.
Almost exactly a year ago in December 2015 the final phase was reactivated - the event was concluded with Old - Jenkins emerging as the event's victor after completely besting all the players down the ladder.


In memoriam of where it all originally began, the 2015 event closing post contents will be posted below.
