You need a fast DVD Burner first, then all of those 8 GB DVD-RAM's will make a reliable storage, if you know how to organize it neatly just in case you need it~

Sounds like a good idea, but after fighting with my equipment...I think I'll just continue on from a safepoint since I don't plan to commentate often.

And, just have fun with it. I'm no expert myself or do I have a good voice, so long as your having fun doing it, your on the right track. I'm very limited in how creativity I can be without the proper equipment, but all you really need is a good recording software (don't think the native will do. Camstudio, Camtasia, etc works), a good mic (can't say for sure. Work in progress), able computer, and your good to go ^^

On the contrary. I have a 1TB drive I purchased from Target and got it for around $50.00 and that wasn't even during the sell. The regular store price (Target) they were about $59-65 USD, so it is a great investment and fairly inexpensive (in my opinion anyway).

You can always try lower chain stores in you area or non specialty stores, since they often have things price lower depending on your region. Purchased a 320GB drive (it was for a class IT project a year ago) for around $35.00 USD.

I'mma use Audacity since a lot of people recommend it for me.

Sounds good then. I usually just evacuate my mind and let it go from there, lol. Pretend your on the phone or something, lol. As for Audacity, that is a good choice. Rarely use it now, due to Camtasia editor.

My HDD is total mess of crap. I still ache from having to start anew with my music collect >_< oh, well...

Camtasia Studio has been my editor, recorder, etc all-in-one, so I didn't need to use anything else. Sadly, that is software you will have to pay for, unless you get a crack for it which are easy to locate. I paid for mine though.

Nevermind I just realized I could record the game with the in-built recorder while using Audacity.

I forgot mention that Visual Boy had a build recorder, lol.
If the quality turns out not as desired, you can always grab some codecs for it on the web. (install CCCP or Klite Codec should handle those basis).
