Are the patterns supposed to stay the same? They look like they change to me... *confused*

Who are you on though ?

The fifth stage in EoSD. It looks completely random. That, and whenever she uses her misdirection, I always get my arrow keys fucked up and I always go to one edge of the screen against my wishes. It works fine elsewhere, but it doesn't work there for some reason.

IIRC, misdirection is the phase when Sakuya's knifes bounce when those hit the edge of screen, right ?
Sadly enough, there is no actual solution for it. I had a hard time to beat that level as well, but as long as you keep playing (I never really use spellcard practice/training, but you can try that instead; it helps you to memorize patterns and improve your dodging skill).

Just a tip though, edge/bottom of screen isn't always the best solution. Be frontal, face your opponent in close range when you think it's necessary.
and another tip, don't be afraid to use bombs. Your life worth more than your bomb.
Sorry if I cannot help, I can just say good luck. Sakuya's patterns are easy if you know how to use gap.

Yeah, my problem is that I don't use my bombs. lol So by the time I get to Sakuya, I have two lives, no continues and all of my bombs.

Edit: But Patch's place... Now that's where I lose the most.

I always have my thumb twitching near the bomb button, just in case XD

Without a doubt, Komeiji Koishi!
I like the idea of her as a younger-sister figure who is still childish, both mentally and mindset. One might think she is weak, she couldn't handle the feeling of being hated, she escaped and deny her own identity, and etc. But in a sense, she is actually very strong, she knew the consequences, yet she still picked the harsh route. More in-depth analysis later; Koishi earns my vote.

Yeah, Yorihime's dress is kinda plain and not really have some distinct patterns on it...
still, that's a neat job on adapting the outfit for Yori.
Maybe adding her bracelet and sword could make it look closer to her usual looks?

Dem, it's been a while since last Wild ARMS game got released... XF released about 3 years and I haven't heard any plan on new release or something since then. Sad :(

My favorite EX-Boss... definitely somewhere between Suwako and Nue. Their themes are great and their patterns are fun to watch and play, and their various fanworks just really drive it home for me, but...

If I had to choose one, I'd choose Nue. <3
