Not sure, though I feel like I have too much time on my hands and feeling kinda guilty about it for some reason.

Yeah, they are often thought of as being shut ins but that's more of a hikikomori. NEET's are folks who for whatever reason, have rejected the employment model of their society or have trouble moving forward in the minimal employment they do get, like folks who jump from job to job never truly finding a steady wage.
