Well, besides being bored out of my mind on deployment, I'm quite fine now that I'm back.
I'll say I was thinking a lot about what was going on back here on the forums so I guess yeah, I was thinking about you(and the rest of the forum) quite a bit.

Depends, I might be deploying to East Timor in a month for another three months. Yeah, doing repetitive training drills on the same AK-105 gets boring when its for three months. But I had a few moments while I was there.

Hmm, I've never fired a gun. I want to though, but that power in my hands sounds kind of scary. Your service is mandatory isn't it? I guess it's better if you're not really having to go to war and chance on dying...

Trust me, firing a gun isn't that bad, though there are some people who think having a gun makes them king of the world. Regarding my service, not mandatory, I volunteered and I've actually been working pretty hard to get my commander to deploy me.

I think if my love decided to do it, I will support him and send lots of letters and emails and loving gifts so he never forgets home or me. I'll be sad to be apart, but I'll be strong. I think I could do it...

I'm sure a lot of women would be like that. It depends on how much they love who they're with. If it's not real love then they will search for love elsewhere. I'm a romantic though, so you have to be sure of what's in your heart and strong with it to be away from someone you love for a long time. If you don't have that, then you can't survive the distance.
But you have to promise me to take care of yourself there. Maybe you are in love with combat, but it's still so dangerous and you will be shooting in the front...it makes me so worried..
