Been in only half a relationship. Half because for one, it wasn't really a relationship at all.

It was set up by my friend who was doing a favour for his girlfriend. I merely played along because I owed him one.

Yes, that is correct. Some find that quite sad of me but to be honest, I've never felt like I've missed out on much, work keeps me occupied and honestly, I love my work.

You come to these forums when you can obviously, so you must crave companionship. And we don't know what kind of friendships you have outside of Fakku. Love is really just companionship of someone special. If friendship is enough for you, then there's nothing wrong with that.
I do hope you will find love one day. With the job you described, it seems like you will be taking care of and looking after others. But someone will want to look after you as well.
