Well, I think it would be good of cafe was restarted and maybe another 'pure rubbish chat" thread was created, as to avoid de-railing? Well, cafe's ARE a discussion place...semi-serious, but still.
But establishments do, what establishments do best, so I doubt we will see it anytime soon.

Well, this section of the forum was specifically created so this kind of situation wouldn't occur in others...if somebody really hates it, then why do they keep reading it, especially if it seems that nothing will change?
Unless they want to hate, but that's a topic for a different discussion entirely.

incoherent babbling had all the chat threads and games til it was split, one could atleast expect to have conversations with others without having to see a one-2 word posts 5-6 times through a page.

Ultimately, however, if most users don't wish for the things to return to the "way it was before", then it won't happen. That's the drawback of every majority-oriented system.
