I'm not sure if it will be before or after marriage (you know, religious and moral stuff and what not but that's another story.) But from the stories that i have heard thought my life about this topic, it really isn't worth the stress and effort. Some people are breaking their backs and etc just to get laid and even sacrificing who they are as a person just to be with a woman (something i have done last year and only several months ago did i recover from it.) and then guess what? They end up breaking up instantly or their lives end up becoming over occupied. Like i said, i'm waiting until my mid 20's to do anything like that (Most likely when i move the fuck out of this shithole...Otherwise known as London.)

Only had ONE during high school, and that relationship ended horribly. She went from very nice a sweet, to just a straight up bitch. I'm the one that's supposed to be like that, since I was the one that was dumped.

Intentionally waiting until you get married is just... I don't know, I find it terrible. Rather, I say one should simply wait till the time comes, after getting a lover and continuing on from there.

@Sakabato: I have a feeling that the reason behind that is you being different than the men around you, but that's just me. Figure it out yourself, I suppose.

I plan to wait because I want to lose my virginity to that special someone... I only want to have sex with one person ever in my life. This may sound child like and nieve, and I know that even if I get married that there is a chance that things will go south and we end up leaving each other regardless, I wan't to do my best to only ever have one sex partner in this life. That is my goal.

Yeah, I know its stupid for a guy to think this way about his virginity and I have been told this many times and even called names for it, but thats just what I believe in~~ ^_^



You are the nice guy type right? If so... your being too nice. Girls at the age of high school say they want a nice guy... some of them actually do, but alot of them honestly dont. They dont want to settle down. They want to have fun, they like the chase, getting a bad boy and trying to "Change" him.

Look, im not telling you to go out and be a jerk to girls or anything but dont be OVERLY NICE! I myself am guilty of this.

You can be nice, but dont be afraid to show some manliness. Say no every once in a while, dont give her EVERYTHING she wants ALL the time. Thats a no no.

Special someone is what I meant when I said "lover" lol. If it's true love, nothing can get in the way, you can marry her and then do it. People in such cases usually ends up doing it before marriage... lol.

The girls that I'm trying to get right now are of college age. Still sucks though that they still have the same mentality of wanting to party all day, every day, even though they are out of their adolescence age, and in their adult age.

I do understand what you are saying though. I do realize that the girls that I'm after are still thinking of snagging that one jerk guy instead of the nicer ones, and that I should man up a bit more, but at the same time, I know that waiting will prove more "fruitful" when the time comes.

Still, I still feel impatient, and I want to try to at least get with someone that really like. I think that's the jealous part of me talking though, due to the fact that most, if not all, of my friends and peers that I have known in high school, are either in a serious relationship, married, or engaged. I kinda feel left out.

But then again, like I said, I know that I will reap better benefits if I wait a bit longer.

I kinda know how you feel to be honest... I havn't dated since highschool. Just trying to focus on other things to keep from going crazy. Friends of mine are out dating, 2 of them thinking of marrage they been togeather so long, I just try not to think about it. Sorry, I having trouble thinking and getting my thoughts togeather but what I think I am trying to say is to not worry about your friends and what they are doing, do what you feel is best for you. And from what you are saying, you feel waiting is best for you. Thats actually a good idea, you wont have to go through alot of garbage that other people go through in relationships this way. ^_^;

Well some people are more romantic than others, again it's based on the couple and how strong their feelings are for each-other.
Though as everyone in my family has told me, "never get married". So it could stop there >.
