Kimchi is like a main side-dish, kinda like how rice is for most Asian countries, and is served like so over here in Korea.
It's vegetables with a variety of seasonings, and to me it has a good spicy/sour taste. It's always delish with any of their food, like :
Bibimbap - Rice topped with seasoned vegetables such as spinach, mushrooms, sea tangle, carrots, bean sprouts, and served with a dollop of red pepper paste. I also like this one served with beef and egg on top as well.
Bugogi - Thinly sliced or shredded beef marinated in soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, sugar, green onions and black pepper, cooked on a grill (sometimes at the table). I personally like mine with chicken.

Good ol' kimchi.

You rang? :D
The military oddly enough teaches you to become both dependent and independent.
They tell you to lead, but also to follow the orders that are appointed to you. To strive to become better than the rest of your comrades, but to also help your battle buddies that are in need because no solider should be left behind.
Kinda of a teach to be taught mentality here I guess, which, in my opinion, is hard to teach nowadays.
Newer generations are taught to either extremes, to either be only dependent of themselves, or to be very dependent on others, and it seems harder to find a balance now due to the ever-evolving society that we live in today.

That much is true, but like a lot of world leaders of today and yesterday, they all had to take orders and from someone else one point or another. The factor is to learn from the ones that have lead you, and implement them into your own ways to become a leader of your own.

Well if the team is truly good then they would work through you. What I mean they will make your problems their problems and help you rectify those problems so you can be the same caliber as everyone. A team isn't a group of people; it is a single force.

There's a saying in the military :
"The military is not just another job, but a lifestyle."
