the newer ones are made of heavy metal/heavy plastic , the old one was mostly plastic with a metal ring

I remember breaking so many attack rings when I played with them. It was pretty damn epic though when the rings blew apart...even though it did break...

I saw a cool bakugan set the other day. it had five red ones and you could combine them to make some red giant...I don't know anything about the game though...
