Loyality bonus:A) allowing those users to claim one waifu that has already been taken (or reclaimed) by someone else, sharing her with the "original" owner. This would have to be done during the first or second round of game, preventing them from claiming any other girl until round 2/3. Each girl could be shared with one user only.
No. I'm sure no-one wants to share their waifu.
HELL NO.

Agreed. I certainly won't be interested in sharing.

But hey, don't just rag on my idea GuGu come up with one of your own then.1. I'm "ragging" on whoever ideas this was. I don't care if it was you or someone else, suck it up. Thanks for the effort, but overall it's not the best idea. (I read that over, thought I'd say it a little nicer. Me being nice to people is a rarity, so don't think I'm out to get you or anything, I'm just giving some constructive criticism.)
2.Typical response is typical, I like to take my time on thinking things through. When I have an idea I'll say it, derp.

The most popular idea still seems to be (at least) one additional reclaim as the loyalty bonus. A 6th waifu is nice in theory, of course, but the chance to keep someone I might otherwise lose still seems like a much better deal to me.

In the chat thread I had brought up an idea which you may have read. It eventually turned into that at the end of the 5 rounds with a grace period of like a week or so for divorces we could start creating polls pitting 1 persons 5 wives against another in essentially who has the better harem of waifu's. Each poll would last a day and it would stop people from only voting for themselves if it was a mass poll. Obviously this only includes people who participated the entire time and got 5 waifu's and whatnot. So essentially Motemote but a 5v5 instead of 1v1 and also essentially user vs. user where one guy will stand out in the end with have the best consensus harem of waifu's.See that's the thing that bugs me. "Who has the better harem?" The waifu game is as stated "To marry your beloved 2d girl" or something along the lines of that. In other words you pick a girl based on who you have love for, and to each person that varies, so judging who's "harem" is better holds no value because you cannot judge such a thing. Then it would basically be who has better trophy wives. No, that idea is shit, I actually pick girls I like, not who's popular or who looks the best on my sig. People picking girls solely for the sake of wanting to have a "better harem" than another would pretty much nullify the meaning of marry your "beloved" 2d character. All this game would turn into, if not already, is another popularity contest.

I don't support the idea of a "Harem showdown".
I find this to be nothing more than a popularity contest as well for this is no different from Motemote and we might as well just wait for the next one to come up. Besides I don't see this "bonus" anywhere within this idea. The point of a bonus is to give us something that is beneficial that only a creator of something can give us. Having a "harem battle" can be done and hosted by anyone so it's not special in any way. A bonus would be something like what Waar said, "a 6th waifu". And I agree with Guilty because the girls we claim are the ones that we like, not because we're trying to aim for the ultimate harem of the universe.

Edit: The idea that "it's not fair" for newbies isn't logical to me. Since, Basically these loyal members deserves something positive as an incentive for always supporting game. Analogically speaking "I paid more for this game, why did that new guy who paid half my price has the same accommodation as I do" well.. something like that you got the picture
point is Let the newbies climb their way up themselves
You brought up a very good point. I also think it isn't fair for people who have invested in the game for so long be put in the same boat as those who say just joined the game today.

just ask them if they know who uncle phil is answer via pmwhat does that have to do with anything?
and I agree with the additional reclaim during reclaim week though I have not been here since game one.
Also adding a 6th waifu....some people are already complaing that there won't be enough decent waifu to last to round 5 (which is a load of bull) and I am sure some would just continue to complain

I think something to solve the people's problem with all the lurkers would be requiring everyone (regardless) to renew marriage papers once a week. To keep track of who's active or not

What waar asked was something to add to make it potentially more fun not just a "bonus", this idea was something that could go on after the claiming rounds and keep it active. However a decent amount seem against it, so whatever. Also Motemote seems to get the most people involved in an entertaining way and creates a flame war, so I don't see how this would be a failure. Besides, maybe some people would enjoy having something like this instead of Motemote just once a year, gives people a chance to support their girl(s) in a different rather random format. Also if you're looking for making this more fun waar, your loyalty bonus only affects a niche audience, which does not affect the overall enjoyment of the game and can obviously annoy some members into stopping if they didn't have a chance to get a girl cuz of the loyalty bonus on top of the reclaim week. Unless you mean the loyalty ppl get to pick 2 in round 5 with a 24 hour gap (1 if they did the reclaim) that wouldnt cause issues imo.

Add to this some idiots who try to use this system to claim waifus or just troll, and it all gets quickly out of hand.

-and the bonus loyalty is in fact NOT FOR ALL the users in the game. It wouldn't be a bonus anymore if ALL the users can enjoy it at the same time.

the 6th waifu would come after the 5th round, there would be a special 6th round for the loyals. It's not a large bonus but it's only the first one ive done; it would be for anyone who participated in 5 games, so as we move further along I would add more bonuses. The 7th game would allow those who started in the 2nd game to claim a 6th. The second bonus would come around the 10th game and It was be much greater, perhaps one of the other suggestions mentioned here. These are just ideas I'm kicking around now; I haven't decided and we are far from the implementation of these ideas.
If we were to do the waifu motemote people would have to sign up for it, I would not arbitrarily decide on who to place on the board. It would be a popularity contest but only one where people who want to join would be in it.
As far as punishing people who don't read the rules? Grow up, at worst it's only slightly annoying. It doesn't affect the game in any way and only makes the game slightly harder to follow. I'm also not going to change the lurker rule no matter what you all want on this one; sorry.

This guy's got a point. Now that I think about it, that is a pretty shit idea

New Idea: Waifu trading. That should be allowed as long as both parties agree. If this was in last time I'd probably get a certain character as a waifu.
The whole reason for the time limit after a divorce was because some people started complaining that the waifu they wanted became single, someone else who had also just divorced a waifu came in and married her. People called shenanigans and then waar made the time limit for marriage and claims after a divorce. It's also why you have to wait for 4 days after a divorce, while girls can be claimed two days afterwards.
I think it should be the other way around to be honest.
