Waifu Game: New ideas?

the rule was set to break up one user giving a waifu to another. Everyone has the same chance now.

the only thing I'm complaining about (and not just me I guess) is the fact that so many users fail to do something as simple as to read the rules. the only solution I can think of, is to somehow change that thread so only people who fit the requirements can view all the posts, while people who don't meet the requirements will only be able to see the first post and will not be able to post in the thread until they meet the post count.
The question I have though is whether or not something like that could be implemented in the first place, and how much time and effort would it take to do so. If it's all practical and possible then I think this plan would actually get some users to read the rules for once.

the 6th waifu would come after the 5th round, there would be a special 6th round for the loyals. It's not a large bonus but it's only the first one ive done; it would be for anyone who participated in 5 games, so as we move further along I would add more bonuses. The 7th game would allow those who started in the 2nd game to claim a 6th. The second bonus would come around the 10th game and It was be much greater, perhaps one of the other suggestions mentioned here. These are just ideas I'm kicking around now; I haven't decided and we are far from the implementation of these ideas. If we were to do the waifu motemote people would have to sign up for it, I would not arbitrarily decide on who to place on the board. It would be a popularity contest but only one where people who want to join would be in it.
As far as punishing people who don't read the rules? Grow up, at worst it's only slightly annoying. It doesn't affect the game in any way and only makes the game slightly harder to follow. I'm also not going to change the lurker rule no matter what you all want on this one; sorry.
nice idea with the bonuses I believe it to be fair, though I can't reamber how many games I've been apart of.
for the waifu motemote I would really like to compete in that ^^ a chance to show how awesome my waifus are.
and as for punishing it's annoying but you should punish if the luker is really just ruining the game.

well, actually it's plausible to set a post requirement, like when the upload section has the 100 post requirement, people can't even get in if they don't have it.
Problems
1. Spam-fest

I have an idea for you. Combine waifu game with the save or kill game. Hilarious train-wreck of drama will soon follow.

Perhaps banning/warn all of Spam-fest participant will be much more than pain in the ass ..
but adding requirement to it somehow fair enough.
i believe most of us here kinda pissed by lurker who stole our favorite waifus ..
and the worst, lurker who doesn't even smart enough to read the rules at first page ..
so i support this motion if it can be implemented .. and Waar approve it as well

the issue is not the post requirement, the issue I see is the lurker rule, It might be possible but it might take some coding and I don't think its worth Jacobs time to assign that only users with 300+ posts or have joined before a specific date just for one post. I would rather Jacob work on big problems rather than waste his time on small stuff.

In the chat thread I had brought up an idea which you may have read. It eventually turned into that at the end of the 5 rounds with a grace period of like a week or so for divorces we could start creating polls pitting 1 persons 5 wives against another in essentially who has the better harem of waifu's. Each poll would last a day and it would stop people from only voting for themselves if it was a mass poll. Obviously this only includes people who participated the entire time and got 5 waifu's and whatnot. So essentially Motemote but a 5v5 instead of 1v1 and also essentially user vs. user where one guy will stand out in the end with have the best consensus harem of waifu's.I like the idea. We could hold a tournament. But we would probably have to leave Waar out of it because the fact that he gets first choice in every round makes his harem virtually invincible. Of course, people who enter the tournament would have to volunteer as some don't like the idea of pitting their waifus against another.
It would be a 5 on 5 battle, with each contestant pitting his 5 waifus against the other contestant's five. Each contestant can then post 2-3 pictures for each of his waifus to show their beauty.
