Waifu Game X - News/Discussion

To be fair I started participating because of this game, I want to play and digested the rules. Though I'll keep posting after the game is over, y'all are Good People.

The newer users can't play do to a lot not having 100 posts so they have more time look over the rules a lot more.

The older users don't really have the time to read the rules do to us trying to a find a waifu to call in the next to 2mins and thinking of 20 ways to kill that guy who call the girl you really wanted.[/color]

Can't find one I want that doesn't require image editing. I did find one earlier today I like well enough to edit, now I need to get software to do the editing...

Even if I don't make it in time for round 5 start time, the round lasts two weeks...

Got my mobile suit/mecha picked out now, too.

[color=#9D0A0A]Keep in mind if you do make it the rules say if you miss a round you can call x number of waifus for x number of rounds that you miss in one post. So you hit a 100 post say 5 days in to round 5 you can call all five. just look at the List be for you call to see if someone has them. oh and uses ctrl+F to find the name.[/color]

Seriously, people, what part of Round 4 lasting two weeks do you not get?

Apparently people's sense of time is messed up.

At this point in time not a bad move to check things before making a fool of yourself.

The point where you don't list start dates.

How long each round last should be hint enough. I'm not gonna spoonfeed basic maths to the players.

Well we see to have the title change every round, when waar remembered, but art can't do that as it will unsticky the thread.

Are Transformers eligible for the mech rule?

I think the intent is for humanform worn/piloted suites & machines. Though there are some non-humanform mechas such as the Battletech Scorpion.

Self-motivated machines opens up eligibility for things like Keith Laumer's Bolo tanks. However there are plenty of examples of AIs capable of operating suits/mechas without human guidance, such as in Iron Man 3. I think a bigger sticking point would be whether it's designed for human (or other non-AI) operation. AFAIK Transformers are not designed like that.
