You can claim 3 characters of any gender until the next game starts without any post count requirement.

I see. I was gone at the time; It being brought to light has me, again, very surprised. While the event was going, all the *boorus were alight with pages and pages of The Abyssal Fleet (as opposed the usual "pages and pages of PC KanColle ships and Touhou"). I expected they'd all be taken up by the time I found my way back to Fakku.
I was also surprised Weiss Schnee was still up for claims. For the last few games RWBY was getting quite a bit of attention, and I didn't think a member of the main team would go unclaimed.
You can never really predict claims from niche sources, can you?
