What goes on in CTFG?

I just got it and the end of a chapter that was translated.

Hmm…

I can't think of any solution besides those two places being separate section. Why does CTFG reacts the way it does especially since CTFG is use to same level of aggression but on the passive aggression? If I call a user fat, for example. CTFG would flip their shit but if I say to the same user, "Oh that user is always eating so much." I'm doing the same thing but one is direct and one is not. So why can't you handle one and not the other? One is inciting a reaction and the other wants me to feel sad about myself. So basically, I think what I'm getting is that CTFG needs to grow up in that respect or to quote Sneaky, "Stop acting like it's high school." Privatize the drama, stop with passive aggression, and make CTFG more thick skin. These are keys of improving CTFG.

But their separate places so there's nothing we can do.

Disclaimer just in case someone wants to take me the wrong way: Sorry if I seemed blunt or anything like that. I like CTFG and the users there and I'm not talking about anyone specifically. I was just having a conversation with Waar about CTFG. These aren't my true feelings about CTFG. These are my observations from my 6-7 months on CTFG.

Both sections are immature but they choose to deal with it differently. When I said people report stuff in CTFG I neglected to mention people report shit in IB far more often and it's just as immature if not more so. Both sections are shit, entertaining shit, and you get to choose the flavor, veiled insults and gay weeabshit (CTFG) or direct insults and autism the section(IB).

If they're the majority then they must be the standard for the definition of mature, you could point out that there are some few billion people on the planet but from what I've noticed they don't act much differently than the users here do when posting with semi-anonymity on the internet. So if you take that into account you're overmature, they're just mature. Being immature in this era of society entails having the intellectual and behavioral development levels of an aborted fetus, because the standard for maturity is that of an autistic four year old.

I just dial my sensitivity down to "rhinoceros hide" any time I'm in either.

Like the reports for really menial shit, just for a joke. I find those funny. I don't know whether it's annoying on your end, or you get a little giggle from it... Or did for the first one, but it got old or something.

I don't think I've ever been annoyed by reports(other than the one time lazyass reported like 20-30 reports from 07-09 in an attempt to become a mod). In reality it's just another way for me to enjoy myself, from time to time we get a really funny report like the last one koko left about sending Jake to prison for the boobs fiasco, and most of the time we mods laugh about it amongst ourselves but other than that it's mostly just routine "this belongs in another section, this user is being rude, this is a spammer" and they're pretty much "no brainers".
