what is the worsest rpg you ever played

As much as there are good rpgs there are bad rpgs that put the genre to shame. What are the worsest rpgs you ever played.


One of the rpgs that lacked alot was wild arms 2 i felt like the battle system should of been improved. Graphics where ok but the mechanics is a big turn off

FFXIII's story sucked so much... The only good thing about it was... Fang, 'coz Lightning was portrayed terribly.

Xenosaga II - The break zone system pissed me off to a point of where I had to spend at least 3 days grinding.

Final Fail...

Shit is overrated... and it sucks...

Tried Final Fail VII... dunno what the fukken hype was about...

Well Except for the one with Terra in it... Thats the only good one...

I assume MMORPGs count as well, yes? If so, WoW. Terrible waste of my time, and I have no idea why so many people like playing it.

The battle system was OK, but it was too limited. Mainly because you had to keep switching paradigms to be able to keep up. Also, did it only annoy me you had to see the scene of them changing paradigms EVERY SINGLE TIME?; You know, the whole "pshaaa" "pshaa" "pshaa" while the boss is probably charging an attack...

The summons were also pretty lame... "He follows those who help their friends", 'ok then, spam heal'. The transforming thing was so lame too... Odin transformed into a HORSE... I nearly cried.

Then there was the story, that focused WAY too much on Serah and her scenes interacting with some of the other characters (I skipped the Vanille one, I couldn't take it anymore). I lol'd when the game gave me control of the character just to move like 3 steps to start a new scene; They definitely went over-board with the story scenes. I miss the good ol' days, when you pressed A to read the new block of text.

Lightning's personality was too stiff, it was horrible, specially when she got mad and her facial expression didn't match AT ALL. Vanille's personality was silly, I personally didn't like it at all... and Snow was a retard, didn't change a bit through the whole game.

Only characters I liked where Hope and Fang. Though Fang had this lesbian vibe at the start(so did Vanille) and Hope was/is a pussy. Even Cid was horrible for once, he made FF9's Cid look cool.

The bosses were ok, but once you had the correct paradigms they get way too easy. The last 3 bosses only took me 3 tries to beat.

And the ending was cool, probably my favorite thing.
