Secret of Evermore was a pretty terrible title actually. It was a goofy "modern setting title" with mechanics based on the godly "Seiken Densetsu" series.

Now folks, I love almost every single video game I've ever played... But the sheer Slowking spedz of Tactics Ogre The Knight of Lodis is like... like getting punched in the balls. Repeatedly. AND THEN BEING FORCED TO WAIT A FUCKING ENTIRE MINUTE TO MOVE TO WHERE YOU WANT TO FUCKING MOVE.

KotoR. can't grind, can't get decent gear with out doing the story, good/evil option is unbalanced(being a dick doesn't pay off as well as being a hippie), and i beat it in two days.

Can't think of the single worst I've ever played, but the most recent one would be suikoden 5. It killed my interest in the series. Blue dragon was pretty bad as well, can't believe that came from the creator of final fantasy.
