Why public schools suck
-1
I am mainly talking about the American public school system. The schools are too overpopulated. One teacher is expected to supervise up to like 30 students. Critical thinking isn't taught. Instead of having a diverse range of ways of teaching we instead just teach students how to pass tests. They don't use technology in a world where technology already is prominent. The teachers and faculty are retarded cunts. They tell you not to be ''inappropriate'' and basically strip you of your individuality and turn you into a drone. Most of the students are ignorant. Almost nothing you learn matters and you will probably never use it once you graduate. And it's so motherfucking boring.

Well, don't most schools are like that? Depends on the curriculum of the state/country I think.

If you are referring to high schools, you need to look at a better school. Although it may be a majority of schools that somewhat fit your description.

"Whether you learn or not doesn't affect my pay check"-Grav's teachers 2000-2006 then 2007-2010My high school and college sucked in terms of being taught anything. One teacher/tutor would cater to 20-30 people, which is a lot for one person to handle and they often couldn't handle it. One year we had a new English teacher, and most of the time we had with her was most of the class giving her hell and she would shout at the class for acting up. Poor woman. And another guy we nicknamed "Wiggy" because his hair was balding and well, looked like a wig. Was also a rumour going round that he had a preference for young girls.
It's no wonder then that my school and the nearby Primary school (which I also went to) both got turned into an Academy under a single name to up their shit average grades.

The high school I went to was pretty good. You have to hunt them down if you want the good schools. Most is probably crappy but I can't know because I can't speak from experience.
Originally, the state tried to dump me into the shitty school so I just ditched it for a couple of weeks or so until the state gave up and let me attend the bestest high school in the area.
My parents was like sure okay that's fine with me :D
Now that' I've graduated few years ago, I have no regrets of what I did to get in whatsoever

Instead when they turned me down on the grounds that we lived too far away, we appealed the decision. I only live 20 minutes away by walking, and other people were getting in who lived much further away and had to use a coach service. Was absolute bullshit. Only other school which was local would've required 2 buses and a 20 minute walk every day, and I wouldn't have known anyone there.

The good high school I went to took 30 minutes of driving to reach. If traffic is bad, almost a hour. Worth it.
If I walked, I don't wanna know how long it would take me, I'll probably have to wake up at 3am or something.

My highschool had a pretty shitty range of classes but the teachers were pretty good , minus a few of course. I still think that Finance should be a required class and not an elective. The school I went to is probably nearly bankrupt. There were quite a lot of cuts in my senior year.

I went to a private school then public school so I know the huge difference in that. Its order. Its cleanliness. Its rules and tamed children that are not wild and out there free to do whatever they want because of the lack of discipline and order maintained in the classrooms. If you're going to grow up in a healthy environment then the adults should be teaching you how to be a respectable adult and not a another useless body in a group of children. Everyone should be raised to think they can do things, be praised and are worth something.

Private Schools aren't much better, in my experience they are actually worse. The Christian school had a requirement in Christian history and science... even Jesus freaks don't believe in this shit. also listening to anything not glorifying God was ten paddlings. We played the eagles over the schools PA... worth the ass whooping.

Yeah, in Bangladesh a single teacher has to deal with over 40+ students in a single classroom.
Especially in the cases of younger kids.
