Actually staying on topic for once in the last two weeks. I just happen to be an expert on this subject. I will tell you the secret to stopping trolls.

First you must make sure you look at the post properly and make sure its a troll. A troll will give out the atmosphere that you are wrong all the time regardless of your opinion. Opinion matters as the troll is looking for maximum impact thus his will be different. This is not to say that all people with different opinions are trolls but a trolls goal is to piss you off and get a reaction out of you.

Look at his vocab that he often uses. If he uses "overly intelligent words" or phrases such as "That may be true but..." then you have yourself a troll on your hands. Words and curses to show his seriousness in the subject is also a tactic used by trolls in order to make it seem as if you are wrong and they are right. Also understand that true trolls base their arguments off loose facts. Alot of it will actually be true or in theory true since any argument you throw back needs a proper response. Trolls can't just say "There is no oxygen in the air" cause that would sound retarded.

Remember all trolls are in it to excite a reaction from the user base thus the best way to deal with them is to not respond in any way shape or form to their posts. Not even an reaction face. Nothing. Identifying them is incredibly important since you should understand that each human has a different opinion on things which may be vastly different from your own.

This thread was a parody of an episode from bear grylls "worst case scenerio" where he showed the viewers how to escape a dog attack

I got that (well the general idea, I haven't watched the specific episode) and thought it was pretty funny. If you were expecting other people to see the word troll and not start acting like idiots...well shame of you really for not seeing it coming.
