I guess I'm not really new, but I'm not active at all so I'll introduce myself formally.
So my name is Diokatsu and I'm from Massachusetts. I really only used Fakku to help me get VNs to play and sometimes to get doujins and whatnot, but hopefully that'll change. Some of my favorite games are Metal Gear Solid, Morrowind and Chrono Trigger (hardcore right?) and in terms of visual novels I generally like the staples, with Fate/Stay Night, Cross Channel and Kira Kira being my favorites. I'm sort of interested in anime and I'll watch just about anything, two of my favorites being Now and Then, Here and There and Bakemonogatari.
I'm also really interested in music and I listen to post-rock stuff and experimental electronic stuff. My favorite bands/artists would be 65daysofstatic, Flying Lotus, Aphex Twin and...Kanye West. I'm pretty much open to anything though really and I love to talk, sohit me up on MSN or Skype if you want to chat.
I also play some Stepmania, mostly keyboard, if anyone is interested. Thanks!

Welcome to Fakku then.
I only really used Fakku for the doujins to be honest myself - then I signed up for the VNs (the front page had a VN post which got me interested) and then I discovered the forums - its been really fun and the forums on Fakku have a great community.
I havent played cross chanel myself, but then again there are so many good ones out there its no surprise really - but is it a recommendable title.
Also if you love to talk - Fakku has a number of different Skype groups and I suppose msn groups as well. You might want to also check out the CTFG forum.
