Which Japanese Trading Card Game Do You Play and/or Collect?

I used to collect pokemon when I was a kid. Some of the best ones I had were hollographic Zapdos and Articuno.

Played a metric shit-load of Magic: The Gathering, pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh back in college, then kinda just grew out of it I guess. I still have a ton of magic cards, though they're pretty much just gathering dust on my shelve (no pun intended)

I have a passing interest in Yu-gi-oh, sure. The artwork is great, and I find the strategy aspect of it all just so...fun.
I run multiple decks, but my mains are Dark World, Dragons, Lightsworns, and ELEMENTAL HEROES, FUCK YEAHHHH
In them VIDJYA GAMES, I generally run a pretty terrifying Spellcaster deck, or a pretty terrifying LV monster deck. Y'know, Armed Dragons, Silent Swordsmans, Ultimate Insect, all that.
I'd build them IRL if I could, but, I barely have half the cards I'd need. U:

[font=Courier New][/font]Had alot of TCG's that I played growing up, but I'd have to say my favorite was Yu-Gi-Oh, and even today looking at the first series cards brings back memories.

I played Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. Found .hack//enemy and Star Wars cards but nobody to play with. Now I play Magic the Gathering.

I'm pretty old-school. I started with Spellfire and BloodWars, and then a few years later, my friends and I moved over to Magic. I haven't played any of them in years though. The last time I played Magic was easily over a decade ago! However, I did pick up a box of Tanto Cuore cards, but there is like no where to buy them where I live, nor is there anyone to play it with...sorta' stranded myself on that one. ;)

Started with MTG though, then I shifted into Pokemon, then YGO, then stopped and took a break from all TCGs. Then got into Weiß Schwarz, Lycee, Chaos and Vanguard, but of the four the only one I found easier to understand/grasp the rules for was Lycee, so I stuck with that despite none of my friends play it. Its nice for collecting though art wise.

I used to have 2 shoeboxes full of Yu Gi Oh cards that I either bought, swapped or won from my opponents. Gave em all away to my high school buddy when I left for Uni.
EDIT: My personal favourite out of my deck was the Horakty card. Probably the only level 12 card that I've ever owned.

Ever since it came to America I've obsessed over collecting Tanto Cuore cards. That game is addicting I tell you. Each pack is lined with cocaine I swear haha. Many fun/rage filled sessions with that game

I used to collect and play Yu-Gi-Oh but gave up after feeling like it was a waste of money and no one else was doing it so playing wasn't so fun cause I'd have to let them use my cards.
I sort of collected Pokemon cards at some point but I never actually played the game and no one else did either we just collected them but it was an odd thing I had thousands of cards but never bought any because there were some people that did scrambles with them and just threw tons away.
