How Do You Interpret Facials?

A little while ago I was having a a conversation with a friend of mine who is a girl, and we got on to the topic of pornography and from there to the subject of Facials. Facials of course being when the man cums on the girl's face.

My female friend interpreted the Facial as an act of power. A way for the man communicate to the woman that he is her master, she his slave, or at the very least that he is the dominant one in the relationship. However I am skeptical of this interpretation. I have always interpreted the facial as cinematic device used by pornography to convey the idea of the woman accepting the man she is coupling with as a worthy mate.

For most of human history if a woman judged a man to be a worthy mate she would have sex with with him, and he would cum inside her, she accepting his sperm and bearing his children. However the act a of cumming inside a woman is impossible to show on film without first putting a camera inside the woman and filming the cumshot that way (though for most this is not particularly sexy). The other way is to film the man cumming inside the woman and show the cum leaking out of her in what is known as a "creampie". However this means that the veiwer has to imagine the cumshot, and can't actually see it occuring and since pornongraphy catering to men is based on visuals to a lot of men this not as satisfying. In light of this the device of the man cumming on other intimate areas of the woman's body, such as the ass, the breasts, or the face, was created.

It would seem to me that the Facial is not an act of dominance, but rather it signifies that the woman thinks well enough of the man she is with to accept his sperm. Either that she loves him enough or finds find sexually attractive enough that she wants his sperm and will symbollically at least accept it into her body. An act which men instinctivly find both sexually arousing and satisfying. Not so much a "Mwhahaha, I am stronger than you and I am going to humiliate you to prove my superiority!", attitude as a "You feel close enough to me that you want my sperm? Hooray!!!" one.

Viewed this way it is not an act of dominance on the part of the man, but an act of love and acceptance on the part of the woman.

Or maybe people just think too damn much into stuff like porn.
