Total bullshit with skipbeat

So there is only one season of skip beat, the season ended years ago, the anime did really well too, the manga is still continueing and is xurrently in the 220ish chapters, and is still a high ranking manga in the listings, so why has there not been a second season, ya so what the company that produced it murged with another they still hold the licencing for it, even know many are demanding a second season, and even have tried to patition it, so why is there not a second season, anyone know this, and im illumia i know my spelling sucks. But im serious here i can only think there some other reason or a hiddeb motive maybe.

The same reason a lot of anime, television shows, and movies don't get sequels - they just don't.

But with its ranking, and how well the anime did, and the manga, and with such a demand for it, it better then most of the pure shit junk thats been coming out lately, it ended on a cliff hanger and the last thing it says on the last episode is "the next stage will be...." it clear they did that for a opening to a new season, but nothing, why does this not get a a second season but shit anime like tokyo ghoul or highshool dxd get sequals wtf. I want answers. Clear answers.

Cause half the fucking time you people accually know stuff. Maybe it was to much for me to hope one of you may be usefull. Maybe i shouls just buy a ticket to japan and go to TYO Animations and yell at who ever is in change of choosing this stuff.

This does not mean to producers what it means to you. I just looked on Google (a skill you definitely need), and it seems as though Skip Beat, as popular as it might have been with some fans, sold... rather mediocre. You need money and profits to keep a business going, honey. And with Japan's tastes as it is, it's why the shit you mentioned get more seasons. It sells like hot cakes.

Main point is, learn to research a little more, and you'll find that Skip Beat didn't make enough to warrant another season, and the chance of it happening decreases with every passing year as it becomes less and less relevant.

Sometimes I feel it's better that way especially if there is a complete and whole ending to the series even it's popular you should leave it where it is with everything revolved and the main characters going their separate into the sunset. If the creation you have had means that much to you, then you will know where to stop with it.

but this is not like that, it stopped in a middle of an ark, like just stopped. As if they where simple taking a couple week break to before starting it up again. And art, its like the show firefly, it did okay, but with every passing year it keeps growing more fans, check the dvd sells rating for the past 5 years it keeps going up. More people now like it then when it first aired, and still it did a hell of alot better then half the shit we see today.

How much does it cost to buy the ownage rights of an anime. Serious question

26 mins of Little witch Academia costed $500,000 with the documentary with it. So $200,000 per ep. No one will sell you the right to it just to get them to write/animated.

so about a mill for 5 episodes.... hmmmmm it might be harder then i though to make an american company that produces manga and anime.....

I wish Panty and Stocking would get a second season.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it but there may not be a second season because the author didn't like the way the first season was done/his show was portrayed. Also the magazine that publishes the manga is the real group in charge of whether something get made into anime. Read Bakuman for more info.

-_- i just dont see how not, the voice acting was great, the anime was funny and stayed on point, the art was clean and good, i would even say it could stand its ground with the stuff they are making this year, it was well liked and got decent raitings, like i said before they planned to release a second season, but they merged companys with there parent company in 2009, and became TYO animations, and after that, not a damn thing

First of all that's entirely subjective, just because you liked it doesn't mean others did. If the show wasn't popular enough in Japan they may not have seen a reason for a second season. There's countless reasons for a company to go in a different direction, just accept and move on to another show.

Is it me....but I've started notice that anime this year and last year are automatically coming with both 1 & 2 seasons already prepared?

This, so fucking much. Japan has made it clear a lot of times that it generally doesn't really give a damn about how popular or successful an anime is abroad (unless it sells millions everywhere like some classics), they only care about how much it sells right when the anime's airing and soon after it ends, and if it bombs there, chances of a continuation drop exponentially.
