Do you read visual novels?

It's hard for me to choose from Sharin no Kuni Himawari no Shoujo, G Senjou no Maou, or Muv Luv.

Fate/Stay Night, followed by Swan Song. I've not played many of them though.

You kidding? I'm like the self proclaimed VN master (Hahah) if you read my signature last time, full of quotes I picked out from Visual Novels only.

Of all Japanese media like Anime, Manga etc, Visual Novels are by far my most favourite. I have like, over 70+ VNs in my storage just waiting to be played, and there's a lot more I hope to get after my next inflow of cash.

So in regards to this question...Yes. Yes I do believe I read visual novels. Quite a lot of my free time is spent with them, in fact.

You ask me for my favourite, I'm never going to be able to choose because I've played so many good ones in the past...

Stuff(and including all sequels) like G-sen, Sharin no Kuni, Ever17, Clannad, Galaxy Angel, Kamidori, Majikoi, Koihime Musou, Sangoku Hime, Rance, Utawarerumono, Tears to Tiara, Family project, Princess Waltz, Eien no Aselia and well I'll stop listing because I might have to double post, but there are a lot more where these came from.

Basically I love Visual Novels and that I'm just a bit sad that not many people know or appreciate them as much as, say, anime or manga. They deserve so much more appreciation and, well, attention, really.

(Btw, that picture of Sachi...I did like her quite a lot in Sharin no Kuni, her story arc I found kind of interesting compared to, say, Touka whom unfortunately I didn't like as much.)

Favourite is a tie between Saya no Uta and G Senjou no Maou. Steins;Gate was the last VN I read and it's pretty good.

I like them.
It's been a while since I read one.
There are a few still on my waiting list, time to go back to them!!

I haven't played all that many, especially since I've been without a computer, but I really enjoy them! The last one I played was Danganronpa and my favorite is probably Katawa Shoujo.

Nothing will ever beat Ever17.

How could I have forgotten Clannad!!! I've read it twice over the years and I'm thinking of picking it up again to read with the wife since it's a non-porno.

G- Senjou no Maou : i like this VN because their EPIC Epilogue but the story for each heroine is well well la . . .

and For another akabesoft2

Sharin no Kuni : i like all of the story each heroine and their ending too not to mention it has Harem Ending too . . . but even tough like that the Epilogue cant beat G-Senjou no Maou

well for another Good VN that i played :

Monster Girl Quest : even tough this VN to much sexual content but the story so EPIC because of this game that my change my view about a Demon Lord

My Girlfriend is The President : cant stop my laugh after played this Romcom VN

Eden* : Damn the story is good but i REALLYYYY HOPE this got a happy ending T_T

Kira Kira series + Deardrop : nice story about making a band from Zero not as good as BECK but i like this because has romance too

ChooDengeky Striker : another EPIC story from a wannabe Superhero from manga this action story really good

Eien no Aselia : even tough not the best RPG but it has a best good story

Kamidori : The Best game RPG that has been translate . . . well there is so much game RPG but still Japanesee tough

katawa shoujo is my fav!

Zanmataisei Demonbane (Deus Machina Demonbane) and Muv Luv are my favorites!! I really like action VNs. Especially gotta love the soundtracks in both of these VN. Those Who Will Challenge The Divine Will and Storm Vanguard such good hype/pump songs!!

Kara no Shoujo is a spooky/horror/thiller VN. I enjoyed it a lot. I played when there was no VA patch for it. It was a good VN without it. I should play it again with the VA.

Sekien no Inganock -What a Beautiful People- I think people skip this game a lot but it is interesting. The world they live in. Idk if translations was bad but I got a weird vibe from it. I definitely wanna come back to it. I was a bit younger when I played it. It might be more understand for me now.

Don't really have a favorite, though I just recently finished reading Kira Kira.

I love Visual Novels!

I am currently in the middle of playing Princess Evangile (it is literally opened and I am alt tabbed posting this). I also plan to play Little Busters after I have finished Princess Evangile.

While I have only played a few, my favorite is Grisaia no Kajitsu. I am trying to be patient waiting for the sequel to be translated to english, but Project Sekai is still in the middle of officially translating Grisaia no Kajitsu.

I also enjoyed G-Senjou no Maou, but I prefer VNs that do not have "one main route". I like being able to choose which route I want to be the "main route".

So far...[as it stands...] for me, my faves are Katawa Shoujo and The Monster Girl Quests [the second one kinda was fluffing with my head a bit though... p~p]
